Our candidate for North Wolds: Louise Reece

I live in North Kelsey with my husband and two teenage children. I grew up locally in Keelby and went to school in Caistor, where my children are at school now. I work in Grimsby as a swimming teacher and coach and also manage a swim school.

Prior to having children I worked all over the country as an IT consultant. In my spare time I am a keen cyclist and participate in many charity events, and in non-covid years I regularly perform in the Keelby village pantomime.

I have various community volunteering roles and in 2016 I was given a national award by Swim England (formerly ASA) for volunteering services to swimming. The issues that concern me are:

• environmental matters,
• speeding traffic in towns and villages,
• street lighting and
• the state of our local roads and pavements.
